Regardless of where you live, you should seriously consider getting Aqua pure water filters to ensure that the water you are drinking is healthy.

We all know we should be drinking more water but with increasing levels of contamination in our water supplies, how do we know that what we are drinking is safe? Due to increased industrial contamination and the reduction in woodlands, often the water coming from centralized storage isn’t free from pollutants and chemicals. If your water tastes, smells or looks funny you should have a water analysis done on it and use bottled water in the meantime. Using bottles is not a long term answer. It is bad for your budget due to the expense but all those plastic containers are also bad for our planet.

The simple answer to avoid any problems is to use aqua pure water filters. But how do you know which one to use? There are many different models available and the one you chose will depend on the nature of your problem and your budget. At their simplest you can use a drinking water system which incorporates a lead free faucet. This is known as a point of use filter and will remove various contaminants from the water including lead, the taste of chlorine and certain parasites.

Why Invest In Aqua Pure Water Filters

You can also use filter water jugs but these are not as efficient as the filters you install into the water system itself although they obviously cost a lot less and are better than drinking water direct from the tap.

If you live in a hard water area you will be familiar with seeing lime scale in your kettle. Unfortunately it also appears in places we can’t see such as the back of your washing machine, in your water storage container and any other appliances. One option is to install a water softener. An alternative is to install an aqua pure filter product as they have a patented ingredient they call scale stopper. This uses two mechanisms, one to stop scale building up and the second treats the actual piping to help offset the effect of corrosive water. The scale stopper works in addition to the rust/dirt removal filters.

The size of the Aqua pure water filter you need will depend on the size of your home. If you have up to two bathrooms the AP11T or the AP101T is fine. These both hold one cartridge which should be sufficient for your needs. If you have more than two bathrooms, you may need a model that holds two cartridges such as the AP12T or Ap102T.

Aqua Pure Water filters need to be changed every three to four months or when the water pressure starts to decrease, whichever comes first. Don’t stop using your filtering system. Your water can be affected by any number of contaminants including iron, bacteria, calcium, chlorine, acid, lead and arsenic. Older houses in particular are likely to suffer from lead contaminants due to the nature of the old piping used. This can cause problems in children. Young children affected by lead poisoning often display similar symptoms to those who are on the mild end of the autism scale or have attention deficit hyperactive disorder.
